Brandon, Florida (September 6, 2016) – Brandon Regional Hospital announces that, in honor of AFib Awareness Month, it will present a seminar entitled “Your Heart Can’t Afford to Skip a Beat” on Monday, September 19, 2016, from noon to 1 pm at the Oakfield Medical Plaza, Classroom B, 276 S. Moon Avenue, Suite 260, Brandon, Florida 33511.
The seminar will be conducted by Juna Misiri, MD, cardiologist, electrophysiolgist. Dr. Misiri is board certified in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Misiri will discuss symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of atrial fibrillation. AFib (or atrial fibrillation) is an irregular heartbeat that can lead to stroke, heart failure, and other heart related complications.
