St. Petersburg, Fla. (Sept. 6, 2016) – The legendary Dionne Warwick – one of the most successful female vocalists of all time – will perform at The Mahaffey Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 at a special 3 p.m. matinee.
Proceeds from the concert, which will also feature Myles Savage’s Motown Party Tour, will benefit Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3282.
Over the course of an exceptional career that began more than 50 years ago, Dionne Warwick has charted 69 songs, and sold over 100 million records. The four-time Grammy winner’s hits include “Walk On By,” “I Say a Little Prayer,” “Alfie,” “Do You Know the Way to San Jose,’ “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again” and more, all written especially for her by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in the 1960s. Her later smashes include “I’ll Never Love This Way Again, “Deja vu,” “Heartbreaker” and “That’s What Friends Are For.”
In 2011, Warwick published her memoir, My Life, As I See It.
