(Tampa, FL, August 30, 2016) Chick-fil-A Tampa Bay is hosting a blood drive during their Fall Stampede in support of Children’s Cancer Center. Since children fighting cancer often require blood transfusions during their treatment, giving blood is a vital way to aid them.

The Chick-fil-A 5th annual Fall Stampede is benefitting the Children’s Cancer Center. The Fall Family fun activities in the main park will accompany the 1 mile family fun walk, with the addition of great new activities including some from our professional sports teams!
Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion. Blood that is donated today will likely be transfused into a patient within two to three days. The turn-around is that fast, the need is constant.
