The store will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Events include a book launch party for Jeff Strand’s “Blister,” a nonfiction writing workshop, a book signing for author Sarah Nicolas/Aria Kane, and a private party for those who have donated to the store.
The book launch party will take place Aug. 12, 7 to 9 p.m., and will include a question-and-answer session with the author, a reading and refreshments.
“I’m thrilled to have the debut book launch party here,” Strand said. “Every Wordier Than Thou event I’ve participated in has been very successful and gobs of fun, so I can’t wait to see what happens in their own dedicated space.”
“Blister,” which is published by Sinister Grin Press (www.sinistergrinpress.com), can be purchased for $12 plus tax. Cash and credit will be accepted.
Suspense and the Art of Nonfiction, a writing workshop, will take place Saturday, Aug. 13, 10 a.m. to noon.
Award-winning nonfiction writer Lisa Lanser Rose will share trade secrets on how to render the story of your life into a real page-turner.
