Pasco, Hillsborough & Pinellas, Florida – (July 27, 2016) Medical Center of Trinity announces that Stephen Hanff, MD, orthopaedic surgeon on staff at Medical Center of Trinity, was named this year’s Physician of the Year. Dr. Hanff was chosen among 35 nominees for the award.
Dr. Hanff was born at “Community Hospital” the former Medical Center of Trinity, and raised in New Port Richey with his three brothers and one sister. He learned about knees and hips running track and cross country for Berkeley Prep in state competitions. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and his medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine where he was elected to the membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He graduated medical school with honors in 2004 and he completed his internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Hanff is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
He is the proud father of three children and looks forward to a lifetime of serving his community where he and his family can grow together.
