Tampa, Fla. – The Patel Conservatory will present the all new musical, Showstoppers: A Jukebox Musical Revue, Aug. 12-14, in the TECO Theater.
Created, directed and choreographed by Scott Daniel, Showstoppers: A Jukebox Musical Revue will bring to life an original story following the ups and downs of love set to some of the most iconic radio hits of yesterday and today.
Students in grade nine through college will work for three weeks to be ready to present beloved songs from such artists as Dionne Warwick, Carole King, Elvis Presley, The Four Seasons, Billy Joel, Queen and many more.
This year’s Showstoppers is the fourth for the Patel Conservatory; each has had a different theme and each has been enormously popular with audiences.
Performances of Showstoppers: A Jukebox Musical Revue are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Regularly priced tickets start at $20 and may be purchased by calling 813.229.STAR (7827) or 800.955.1045 outside Tampa Bay, in person at the Straz Center Ticket Office or online at www.strazcenter.org.
