TAMPA, Fla. – July 1, 2016 marked a major milestone for Tampa home builder, Highland Homes, as they celebrated 20 years in business. During their anniversary month, Highland Homes was pleased to add to the celebration with honors from the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the fastest-growing companies in Tampa.
Highland Homes was recognized as one of the 50 fastest-growing privately-owned companies based in Tampa Bay at the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 Awards luncheon, held on July 21 at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre in Tampa. The home builder took home not one, but two awards during the event, receiving recognition as the No. 9 Fastest Growing Company in Tampa Bay based on Dollar Revenue Growth, with $41.1 million in revenue growth from 2013 to 2015, and the No. 29 Fastest Growing Company in Tampa Bay based on Percentage of Revenue Growth, with 80.46 percent growth from 2013 to 2015.
The list’s rankings are calculated based on revenue growth from 2013 to 2015, and financial information was verified by accounting firm Frazier & Deeter. To be considered, a company must be based in Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk or Sarasota County, had 3 consecutive years of growth, and a minimum of $1 million in revenue in 2013. Highland Homes was honored to make the list for the second year in a row.
In the course of its 20 years of business, Highland Homes has had the privilege of building dream homes for more than 6,500 Florida home owners, ranked among the top builders in the nation and worked hard to provide top-quality new homes with a superior customer experience for each and every home buyer.
“We’re humbled by our success throughout the years,” says Bob Adams, President and Owner of Highland Homes. “And despite tough economic conditions, the effort from every one of our team members has resulted in our ongoing success.”
Highland Homes was one of just three companies based in Polk County, Florida to make the list. Bob Adams has been building homes in Tampa Bay and Polk County for more than 45 years, and was a founding partner of Sun State Homes for two decades prior to founding Highland Homes. Long standing relationships with local suppliers and construction subcontractors have contributed to his success as well as boosting the local economy.
“There is no substitute for experience,” says Adams. “Our dedicated staff and long-standing relationships with local construction subcontractors and suppliers help us to provide a quality, high-value product.”
“We work hard to put homeownership within the reach of Florida home buyers with the variety of home sizes, pricing and finance options we offer, but we work even harder to ensure the satisfaction of our homeowners,” Adams adds. “Our team is dedicated to providing the most satisfying home buying experience on earth.”
