Hudson, Florida (July 8, 2016) – Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point announces that it will host a community breakfast lecture on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on July 26 at the Rao Musunuru, M.D., Conference Center at 14100 Yosemite Drive, Hudson, Florida 34667 (back campus of the hospital). Registration and breakfast is at 8 am and the speaker will begin at 8:30 am.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) has built a nationwide grassroots network of volunteer advocates to empower blood cancer patients to affect real change. LLS works with Congress and the FDA to promote new medical discoveries and speed the development of new treatments and cures. LLS has made a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients by helping pass oral parity laws in more than a dozen states to ensure equity on cost-sharing for patients who rely on self-administered treatments.
