SARASOTA, FL: The Music Compound just announced the date for the grand opening of their new location in Sarasota. Although only moving down two doors from their original location, the Music Compound has expanded to a much larger location. To celebrate the move and expansion of the school, the Music Compound is hosting a grand opening at their new location at 1751 Cattlemen Rd. on September 9th. The event will begin at 4:30 with a Ribbon Cutting from the Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Opening Party will be from 5:00-8:00. During the opening there will be performances from students and teachers along with local favorites. Food and drink will also be available and admission into the event is free.
“I’ve been working so hard for such a long time on my business and I’m so excited to announce the grand opening of my new location!” said Jenny Alday Townsend, President/Owner of the Music Compound. “Since opening Music Compound in January we’ve had such an amazing response from the community! Our staff and students enrolled has grown tremendously and it was clear to me that it was time to expand the business in order to provide more room to carry out our mission to inspire, collaborate and educate.”.
At the grand opening there will be live entertainment, which includes Music Compound’s first band, The People. The People will performing original music written by Ashley Spadafora and others that attended recent songwriter camp. The People even had the chance to record one of their songs while on a field trip with the Music Compound to Jump Dog Audio Productions.
