SARASOTA, Fla. (July 7, 2016) – Environmental Pest Service, one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the nation, is adding three key staffers to lead the company in process improvement, information technology and personnel training.
Sarasota-based EPS is the parent company of Arrow Environmental Services in west and central Florida, Bug Out Service in north Florida, Skyline Pest Solutions in metro Atlanta, and State Pest Control in central North Carolina. It is announcing the following hires:
• Wade Stankich is EPS’ new Director of Information Technology. Having started his career as a personal computer technician 20 years ago, he brings experience in managing, analyzing and developing software and technology, mostly in the manufacturing and aviation fields. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. I want to look at innovative ways to streamline our customer-facing functions to make it even easier for customers to interact with EPS’ brand platforms,” he said.
• Janet Jordan, who was formerly EPS’ interim IT director, is now the Director of Process Improvement, a new position at EPS. With more than 20 years of experience in project management in Chicago and Tampa Bay, she’ll focus on improving processes across the company. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University of Ohio. “As EPS has grown, we’ve learned a lot about the best ways to run the business,” she said. “My goal is to achieve consistency as we continue to assimilate our different brand platforms.”
• Ben Hefty has joined the company as a training specialist in turf and ornamentals. He brings more than a decade of experience in pest control, landscaping, irrigation, and turfgrass management. He earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Turfgrass Science and Engineering Technology from the University of Florida and the University of West Florida, respectively. He’ll lead training in the identification of insects, weeds and plant disease, and care for turf and ornamental plants.
“The experience that Wade, Janet and Ben bring to the organization is a perfect fit for us,” said Joe Finney, Chief Executive Officer of EPS. “We continue to refine our best practices, making sure we have the key people and infrastructure to keep our customer satisfaction high as we continue to grow.”
