ORLANDO (June 27, 2016) – Bryant Miller Olive announced today that Orlando-based public finance lawyer Ken Artin has been recognized in the 2016 edition of Florida Trend magazine’s Florida Legal Elite™ in the Banking/Financial practice area.
Artin has actively practiced public finance law since 1986. He has represented municipalities, counties, school districts and special taxing districts as disclosure counsel, bond counsel and special tax counsel. Artin is the current President of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
He also has significant experience representing sponsors and lenders participating in public private partnerships (P3s). As several examples, Artin has worked with such state colleges and universities as the Florida Polytechnic University and the University of South Florida in projects for classroom facilities, student housing facilities and other social infrastructure using P3 development plans.
Legal Elite lawyers were chosen by actively practicing Florida attorneys that were asked to name the attorneys that they hold in highest regard as professionals – lawyers with whom they have personally worked and would recommend to others. Seven Bryant Miller Olive attorneys received this honor in 2016.
