Tampa, Fla. – June 22, 2016 – Sold out for the past three years, Ignite Tampa Bay returns with its simple premise: “Enlighten us, but make it quick.” Since 2006, Ignite has presented hundreds of talks around the world, sparking thriving Ignite communities in Portland, Sydney, Boulder, New York, and Tampa. Presenters are asked: If you had five minutes on stage, what would you say? What if you got only 20 slides, and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds? Touching briefly on a variety of topics, from the DIY community to parent-educator relationships, and presented by anyone and everyone, Ignite events are all-ages, fast-paced, sometimes-unpredictable, and always thought-provoking.
We open the doors to the Cuban Club Theatre in Ybor City at 6pm with the evening’s emcee Nathan Schwagler, Founding Co-Director of the Dali Museum Innovation Labs. Twenty amazing speakers will take the stage for five minutes each with talks ranging from beating childhood cancer, bees, and cognitive science to our relationship with Cuba, streetcars and the millennial problem…and that’s just for starters!
We could never to do this event without you, the community, great volunteers and our amazing sponsors. We sincerely thank those sponsors who make this event possible:

So if it’s intellectual ignition that you seek, then Ignite Tampa Bay is a combustible opportunity to spark such rejuvenation of imagination, wonder, and community connection. In other words: Be there, or a be a vessel.” Join us for an exciting evening with content proved by your friends and neighbors to inspire each of us to make a difference.
