SARASOTA, Fla. – Halfacre Construction Company (HalfacreConstruction.com), the area’s oldest, most established, locally owned and operated private commercial construction company, was recently prequalified as a potential construction management firm for future Collier County Public Schools projects.
The company was named a prequalified contractor for construction services, meaning Halfacre Construction Company will be considered for upcoming school projects.
Halfacre Construction Company was recognized at a school board meeting on May 10. The contract starts July 1, 2016 and will be active until June 30, 2017. The multi-year prequalification also has the option of two additional years.
Halfacre Construction Company provided general contracting services on multiple projects for the district from 2010-13 and has provided services for many other top school districts in Florida, including Hillsborough, Palm Beach, Lee, Manatee and Dade counties.
