Steve Bernstein and Theresa Gallion ranked among best in nation for Labor and Employment Law
TAMPA (June 1, 2016) – Two Tampa attorneys with leading labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips have been ranked among the top attorneys in the nation by Chambers USA for 2016. The firm was also ranked among the top labor and employment law firms in Florida.
The annual Chambers USA list ranks top law firms and attorneys across the United States. Researchers determine the rankings through thousands of in-depth interviews with randomly selected attorneys, clients, and businesses in various areas of law.
Steve Bernstein is regional managing partner in the Tampa office of Fisher Phillips. For 26 years, he has represented employers throughout the United States in both state and federal courts, as well as before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other state and federal agencies. Bernstein advises clients on union-related matters and compliance with the NLRA, the WARN Act, USERRA, FMLA and the ADA. He places an emphasis on implementing preventive employee relations programs that include supervisory training and effective human resources policies and procedures. Bernstein has been listed in Chambers USA since 2011.
Theresa Gallion, a partner in the Tampa office, has been practicing labor and employment law for 34 years. She represents clients in a wide variety of industries, with emphasis on hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, and telecommunications. Gallion is one of the firm’s most experienced trial lawyers, and has successfully tried more than 40 jury trials in employment cases. A significant portion of her practice is devoted to management training on equal employment opportunity, diversity, and management skills. She has been listed in Chambers USA since 2003.
