SARASOTA, FL: The Music Compound is excited to announce the first of two music inspired movie nights this summer. Summer is the perfect opportunity to spend time with friends and family and the Music Compound has decided to embrace that with their summer movie nights! Enjoy a family friendly movie and popcorn for a price of $15 per family. Various drinks for parents and children will be available for purchase along with pizza. Living in Florida means that heat can be a barrier to having an enjoyable time outside, so B’s Cool Treats will be onsite to keep movie goers cool in the Florida heat with Ice Cream.
“We are so thrilled to offer music inspired movie nights here at the Music Compound!” said Jenny Alday Townsend, President/Owner of the Music Compound. “It will be a great time for all of our members and even non-members who have just found out about us, to gather together for a great night of movie watching and pop-corn eating. We are showing movies that have a musical influence to give our students a different perspective of music.”.
The first movie night this summer will be on June 17th. Doors will open at 6:00pm so guests can have time to mingle, take a tour, and eat food before the movie begins at 7:00pm. That night, the Music Compound will be showing the Disney classic, Mary Poppins. The movie will be shown on the Music Compound campus in the warehouse for a semi-outdoor setting. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating.
If guests are unable to attend, the Music Compound encourages everyone to attend the second movie night, which will be on July 15th. The second movie night will be at the same time and place as the first and food will also be available. School of Rock will be shown that night for the guests enjoyment.
