|Teresa Morgan has been promoted to Director of Sales for WFTS-TV, Tampa Bay’s ABC Action News Station (DMA 13). Ms. Morgan will be responsible for the oversight of advertising sales and revenue. Her new position with the Scripps-owned local media company is effective immediately.
With over 18 years of sales experience, Ms. Morgan has a wide range of knowledge in business, television and digital media that has brought great results in the Tampa market. She joined WFTS in 2003 as a senior account executive. In 2011, she was promoted to Local Sales Manager, overseeing a team of top-performing account executives.
Ms. Morgan was also critical in helping launch the Scripps DC political sales office in 2010. She was responsible for working with agencies, political groups and candidates to drive sales for the Scripps TV markets, specifically WFTS, WPTV, KSHB and KMCI.
