Hudson, Florida (May 24, 2016) – Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point will continue its popular “Tuesday Tutorials” on June 14, 2016, when it will present a seminar entitled “Your Vote Counts.” The seminar will be held at the Rao Musunuru, MD Conference Center at 14100 Yosemite Drive, Hudson, Florida 34667. The program will be presented by Supervisor of Elections, Brian Corley.
Registration/lunch begins at 11:30 and the tutorial will begin at noon.
Supervisor Brian Corley was appointed Pasco County Supervisor of Elections in 2007. He was then elected in 2008 and 2012. Brian Corley is currently President of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (FSASE) and has previously served as chairman of the FSASE legislative committee lobbying on behalf of elections officials on voting/elections issues in Florida. He has testified numerous times before Florida legislative committees and is frequently requested to speak to groups within Pasco County on the important of voting.
Supervisor Corley received a Bachelor degree in political science and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida. He is an adjunct professor at Barry University. Supervisor Corley is also a member of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the Pi Alpha Alpha (National Honor Society for Public Affairs & Administration).
