Local nonprofit, Village Partners International, Invites Tampa Bay Kids to Play in the Park and Learn How to Help Kids Around the World!
Village Partners International has invited Tampa Bay area families to ‘Kids Helping Kids!’ on Saturday, July 16th from 10am-1pm at Water Works Park in downtown Tampa. This free event is for all kids and families to have fun in the sun while learning about the many ways we can help others. Meet the doctors and nurses who travel to Haiti and Uganda on annual medical mission trips! Explore the cultures of others through crafts, games and health activities. Face painting and snowcones! Donations of Children’s Vitamins will be collected for the group’s upcoming medical mission trip to a remote hospital in Papoli, Haiti.
Village Partners International, is a charity organization of all volunteers based right here in Tampa! Their Mission is to partner with select impoverished world villages to help them help themselves to improve education, nutrition and healthcare through sustainable projects. VPI provides gifts, financial support, and expertise in healthcare, agriculture and entrepreneurship to support local people affect positive changes in their villages. The causes of this inclusive, interfaith group include clean water, improved nutrition, maternity and pediatric clinics, homes for widows and access to higher education.
