The public is invited to a Grand Opening celebration of the Maternity Suites at Oak Hill Hospital

Oak Hill Hospital NEWSpring Hill, Florida (May 19, 2016) – The public is invited to a grand opening celebration of the Maternity Suites at Oak Hill Hospital on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 11 am to 2 pm. The celebration will be held on the third floor North Tower at 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613. The public is invited to tour the new Maternity Suites and receive one ticket per person to enjoy a free barbeque luncheon.

 

The tour of the 22,000 square foot facility will include six labor and delivery suites, ten postpartum recovery suites, two ante-partum labor suites, a Cesarean surgical suite, and a 12 position holding nursery for babies who need special monitoring or continuous observation.

 

In addition, the Maternity Suites offers:

Our Maternity Suites also offers a patient and family-centered care philosophy which includes open visitation to support this family-centered care. When we first announced the project Chief Operating Officer Sonia Wellman said, “Our goal is to provide the highest level of quality care and customer service to ensure that the birth of your baby is a treasured memory.”

 

As our growing area changes in demographics, Oak Hill Hospital’s Maternity Suites will meet an ever-growing need. Cindy Poirier, Director of Women’s Services, is particularly proud of the patient and family-centered care philosophy. “This means for all healthy births, our goal is to keep mom and baby together as much as possible in those first precious days, so the mother may learn to take care of her baby with the help of a compassionate care team,” she said.
