Hudson, Florida (May 17, 2016) – Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point (RMCBP) will continue its popular “Tuesday Tutorials” in June with a series devoted to Community Care. On June 7, 2016, RMCBP will present “Hurricane Preparedness.” The program will be presented by Amanda Woodward, Training and Exercise Coordinator, Pasco County Office of Emergency Management. The seminar will be held at the Rao Musunuru, MD Conference Center at 14100 Yosemite Drive, Hudson, Florida 34667.
Registration/lunch begins at 11:30 and the tutorial will begin at noon.
Ms. Woodward has 15 plus years in emergency preparedness and response. She served as a volunteer firefighter and a paramedic for the United States Public Health Service under the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining Pasco County, she was the Hospital Safety Officer and Manager of Security, Emergency Preparedness and Air Operations for South Lake Hospital in Orlando. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration, is a licensed Safety Professional and is currently obtaining a Master’s degree in Safety Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. She is a member of the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association, the National Fire Protection Association, the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Working Group and is an appointed member of the Embry Riddle Emergency Services Advisory Board.
