Spring Hill, Florida (May 18, 2016) – Oak Hill Hospital announces that a total of 25 scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded to graduating seniors by the Oak Hill Hospital Volunteer Association. The scholarships were awarded to the following:

The scholarships were chosen by the Oak Hill Hospital Volunteer Scholarship Committee including Phyllis M. Chiswell, chairperson, Judy Avila, Lois Hackett, Karen Miles, Marie Nyquist (Volunteer Association president).
The Volunteer Association has been awarding scholarships for nearly 25 years. The criteria for awarding the scholarships are based upon each student’s GPA, family income and dependents. The funds are received from revenue generated at the hospital volunteer gift shop and other fund raisers.
