Tampa, Fla. – The University Area Community Development Corporation (UACDC) offers free computer courses and computer use for area residents in its Computer Lab.
- Basic Computer Skills (mouse, cursor, keyboard, desktop, browsers, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)
- Professional Skills (QuickBooks, PowerPoint, security, hardware, etc.)
- Creative Software (Publisher, Adobe, iMovie, etc.)
Additionally, computers are available in the Computer Lab for personal use, including resume development, etc. Assistance is typically available.
Computer Lab hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 to 5 p.m. (Open hours are subject to change, due to trainings and workshops.)

Located at 14013 North 22nd Street in Tampa, 33613, the UACDC Community Center offers much more than computer training. Basketball courts, a Head Start preschool program, performing arts classes for children, performance spaces, a gym, a brand new pavilion and more are included in the community center.
UACDC provides support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.
