SARASOTA/BRADENTON, FL – Goodwill Manasota has partnered with First Impression Image Consulting to provide free fashion consulting workshops for members of the community. Beginning on May 19 and continuing through June 30, the workshops will be held on Thursdays at lunch time and evenings at several Goodwill retail stores throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties (see dates and locations below).
During each session, groups of up to 25 people will be treated to an hour of fashion dos and don’ts with Sharon Stewart, owner of First Impression Image Consulting. One lucky participant from each session will be chosen at random to browse the store with Stewart to create an outfit that incorporates the elements of the look that is most appropriate for them, and presented with a $25 Goodwill gift card to be applied toward the purchase of the items selected.
“One of the things that is most fun about shopping at Goodwill is the vast quantity and quality of clothing we have available on the shelves. No matter someone’s size or preferred style, we can almost guarantee there’s something for everyone on our shelves,” said Goodwill Manasota Foundation vice president Veronica Brandon Miller. “Sometimes people get into a rut, or they want to try something new but don’t know where to start, or maybe they’re looking for a job and could gain self-confidence through some new clothes. Sharon Stewart will be able to help people find the look that’s most complimentary for them – we’re grateful to her for offering this opportunity for the members of our community.”
