ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Aaron Sherwood, vice president/commercial banking at Synovus Bank, has joined Creative Clay’s board of directors.
Sherwood is a seasoned retail commercial banker with more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was selected in 2010 and 2013 for the prestigious Synovus Bank Leaders’ Circle award, bestowed annually in recognition of outstanding banking performance within their respective line of business.
Sherwood holds an associate’s degree in general studies from Niagara County Community College, a degree from the American Institute of Banking and plans to earn a graduate degree from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking in 2018.
Shewood’s expertise includes working with companies that have annual revenues between $2.5 million and $20 million, that require credit facility needs for working capital, expansion, real estate and equipment. He is a member of Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association (LSPAA), Leadership St. Pete/Class of 2013, Upper Pinellas County Dental Association, Bay Area Manufacturing Association (BAMA) and a past mentor for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Pinellas County.
