Bright House Networks today announced that it has been named one of this year’s InformationWeek Elite 100 – a list of the top business technology innovators in the U.S. The full list can be found on http://www.informationweek.com/elite100.
Bright House Networks was recognized for its launch of a new system that offers advanced management of its fiber network and cloud solutions for Business customers.
The project utilized a mix of Big Data concepts and configurable workflows to deliver a new foundational platform in under 18 months.
Bright House Networks has been evolving its internal Software Delivery Mechanisms over the last few years with the goal of delivering more to its customers. Improved online ordering, new mobile applications to allow for self-care, and a full-feature online video experience for phones and tablets are among a few of the key customer-facing features enabled by this transformation.
“We are extremely honored to receive this acknowledgement from InformationWeek,” said Bright House Networks chief information officer, Jake Perlman. “It is validation that the work we have been doing to improve our internal processes to deliver more to customers are being recognized not only in the marketplace, but also by our peers.”
“As business success becomes even more dependent on the ability to innovate in information technology, being represented on the InformationWeek Elite 100 list is one of the biggest honors a company can achieve,” said Susan Nunziata, editorial director of InformationWeek. “It’s a validation of efforts by the business to make IT a game changer.”
“This year, we listened to our attendees who said they wanted to learn more from the IT rock stars who populate our Elite 100 list by making them central to our conference program,” said Brian Gillooly, InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference Co-Chair and VP of Event Content & Strategy for UBM. “By doing so, we were able to not just tell their stories, but also allow our attendees to network directly with the people driving the very IT innovation that shapes our industry.”
