SARASOTA, Fla. – The Gulf Coast Builder’s Exchange (www.GCBX.org), a not-for-profit trade organization, recently elected its new chairman and announced its latest board and executive committee members.
The Gulf Coast Builder’s Exchange’s (GCBX) 2016 chairman is Paul Stehle, vice president of Climatic Conditioning Company. Stehle was installed during the organization’s annual meeting last month at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.
During the annual meeting, the new three-year term board members were also named, including returning board member Jeff Charlotte, president of J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp.; Doug Sutter, president of Sutter Roofing Company; David Karins, president of Karins Engineering Group, Inc.; Mary Forristall, president of Forristall Enterprises, Inc.; and William North Jr., principal of Hill Barth & King LLC.
The GCBX’s executive committee now includes Forristall, the immediate past chairman; Kevin Hicks, chairman elect and CEO of Gator Grading and Paving; Brian Leaver, vice chairman and senior vice president of Tandem Construction; Karins, secretary; and North Jr., treasurer.
“We are very fortunate that our community has so many talented and devoted industry professionals,” said Mary Dougherty-Slapp, the executive director of GCBX. “We harness that leadership and knowledge to further foster civic involvement and promote fellowship within the membership to strengthen relationships between all trades.”
