The newest additions and promotions on the McKibbon team include:
Todd Kinney | Regional Vice President of Operations
Todd has been a dedicated member of McKibbon Hospitality since his start as the General Manager of Courtyard Knoxville in 1997. Todd was instrumental in the success of opening 12 hotels, receiving Hotel Opening of the Year awards several times. Todd has also been the recipient of Hilton’s General Manager of the Year Award of Merit, Top Hotel Performance Award of Merit, Pride Award of Merit, Hotelworld Network General Manager of the Year and was recently recognized by McKibbon Hospitality as the General Manager of the Year at the 2015 McKibbon ONE Leadership Conference. Todd will bring his wealth of expertise into his new role focusing on managing operations for a portfolio of hotels.
Kane Flanary | Vice President of Renovations
Since 2009, Kane has worked with McKibbon Hospitality first as a General Manager for Courtyard Gainesville and Residence Inn Tallahassee before making the move to Senior Renovations Project Manager. Kane was instrumental in increasing renovation revenue by triple digits during his time as project manager. Kane will now transition to oversee all renovation projects and will be responsible for increasing capital improvement projects.
Lisa Caskey | Renovations Manager
Recently joining the McKibbon Hospitality team, Lisa brings over 12 years of experience in hospitality including project management, design and sales. With experience as a supplier and purchaser, Lisa has a unique understanding of the renovations process from contracts to design selections to installation. Based in the Charlotte office, Lisa will be managing renovation projects for McKibbon Hospitality and other third-party owners.
Jim Coyle | General Counsel
Jim Coyle joins McKibbon Hospitality as general counsel. Jim received his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and his Master’s in Law with a focus on Taxation from Boston University School of Law. In 2002, Jim started his own private practice at Stewart, Melvin & Frost, LLP. Jim will provide legal oversight and support for the entire McKibbon Hospitality organization.
Aaron Calabrese | Regional Revenue Manager
With a decade of revenue management experience, Aaron recently joined the McKibbon Hospitality team. Working with select service and extended stay hotels, Aaron has a diverse understanding of revenue management. Relocating to the Tampa office from Virginia, Aaron is responsible for overseeing revenue management strategies and processes for a portfolio of hotels, along with identifying new revenue opportunities.
Wes Townson | Vice President of Business Development
Wes started his journey with McKibbon Hospitality in 2003 as Director of Acquisitions and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Acquisition a year later. Wes has completed over 30 transactions for projects many of which were in urban settings, mixed use and complex. In his new role with McKibbon Hospitality as Vice President of Business Development, Wes will play a key role in responsible for seeking development and management opportunities for third party owners, and will drive growth by building and growing relationships with ownership groups, brand executives, investors and commercial real estate brokers.
Karl Oates | Vice President of Lifestyle Hotels
Since 2001, Karl has been an integral part of the McKibbon Hospitality team. Karl began his journey with McKibbon Hospitality as the Opening General Manager of the Courtyard Chattanooga Downtown, receiving awards for Opening Hotel of the Year, General Manager of the Year for the Southeast Region and Hotel of the Year for the Southeast Region. Karl continued to work his way up as Director of Operations Support, Director of Operations, Regional Vice President and is now transitioning into his new role as Vice President of Lifestyle Hotels. In his new position, Karl will work with the McKibbon Hospitality development and design teams to provide exclusive experiences for guests by creating and implementing lifestyle concepts and cultures unique to each hotel.
The McKibbon team members will transition into their new positions by Spring 2016.
