BRADENTON, FL, April 18, 2016 – Applied G2, LLC, the industry leading boutique cyber security and risk management firm, today announced that Co-founder and Managing Partner Jeff Sauntry will speak at the “It’s Not If, But When; Cyber-Security Best Practices – Prepare, Contain, and Respond” event on April 21st, 2016. The program will feature experts in legal, accounting, technology, and insurance, and will focus on the importance of cybersecurity and how to protect your business from advancing cyber threats.
Mr. Sauntry will speak the role of technology plays in cybersecurity both at the tactical level and in the boardroom. He will discuss the impact of social engineering and tactics of hackers in today’s headline grabbing security breaches, and critical elements in a successful cybersecurity program. He will also address the emerging trends in cyber-breach responses and corporate accountability requirements and how utilizing threat models to optimize network and application security can increase cyber resiliency.
This event is co-hosted by Phelps Dunbar LLP and Frazier & Deeter LLC and the panel discussion encompasses the different stages of cyber-attacks: preparing for a possible cyber-attack, identifying and containing a breach, and responding to cyber-risk.
