WordCamp Tampa has recently announced that their 2016 event will be held on September 9-11 at the USF Marshall Student Center located at 4103 USF Cedar Cir. Tampa, FL 33620.

They are now accepting Sponsors and Speaker applications for this 3 day event.

The conference will be 3 fun, full days! Friday will feature an all-day beginner WordPress workshop, limited to 100 people. Saturday is the main conference day with 3 tracks, featuring Publishing & Marketing, Design, and Development. Sunday will include two tracks, for Business & Entrepreneurship, as well as a general Publishing track. We’ll have all-day workshops for developers on Sunday as well. WordCamp Tampa will be limited to 400 tickets and you can expect that 350 attendees will be present on Saturday, September 10, the main conference day.

– Tom Townsend one of the co-organizers and Sponsor Director of the event said,
“As you may know WordPress is a great business platform. We’re looking to teach and network with the local WordPress newbies and professionals with our conference. Tons of WordPress students and professionals come out to learn, schmooze with local sponsors, and socialize about the WordPress platform. Often times, WordPress pros come looking for work. We draw a large developer base too.

The tickets to our event are very affordable (only $40 or so), this includes many benefits including fully catered meals for 2 days of the event. One would be hard pressed to find a business conference in the Tampa Bay area for less than $50.00 with the networking, education, included meals and other conference benefits that a WordCamp conference can offer. In fact, they can’t without charging exuberant fees.

I know as I have either attended or been invited to many within the last 2 years. None can compete at our pricing and value proposition. However, we can’t do this without support and we need sponsors to help us for the majority of the event. In return for your sponsorship, we offer an array of benefits, which grow with your sponsorship level.”
