Goodwill invites brides-to-be to its 2016 Wedding Gala, once again helping brides on a budget afford stunning new bridal gowns!
Doors will open at 6 a.m. on Friday, April 22 at the Goodwill store in Clearwater. The store is located at 16494 U.S. Hwy 19 N.
This year’s Wedding Gala is thanks to a generous donation of 85 new wedding gowns and an assortment of 350 new bridal, formal and cocktail dresses from CC’s Bridal Boutique. The wedding gowns include designer names such as Alvina Valenta, Eve of Milady and Maggie Sottero. Even the most elaborate gowns will be priced at no more than $400.
This year, as in past years, Goodwill expects brides-to-be, moms, friends and fiancés to arrive very early to stake their place in line and get the first shot at the gorgeous gowns. Shoppers are given numbers as they arrive and are admitted into the dressing area in that order. Light refreshments will be served and extra staff will be on hand to help brides find that perfect gown!
Proceeds from the event will benefit Goodwill-Suncoast’s training programs in Tampa Bay, Lakeland and Ocala for people who have developmental disabilities or other barriers to employment.
