TAMPA, Fla. (Mar. 14, 2016) — The Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) announces the second annual Family Fun Day, to take place in Ybor City’s Centennial Park on Sunday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature free screenings of the films “Kung Fu Panda 3” (11 a.m.) and “The Lego Movie” (1:30 p.m.), with the park’s concrete square covered in AstroTurf so families can enjoy picnicstyle seating. The entire event is open to the public and free to attend.
Additional activities in the park will include games and giveaways from Suncoast Credit Union, a photo booth, a chalk artist, movie characters from Parties With Character, music activities with Allisongs for Tots, a Kids on the Block puppet show with Champions for Children and a chance to meet Melissa Tuttle Twommey, author of the children’s book Good Night Tampa. Popcorn and a variety of food and beverage items will be available for purchase.
