St. Petersburg, FL. (March 15, 2016):
On Thursday, April 21st, from 6:00-8:30 pm, St. Petersburg’s EDGE District showcases its eateries, brews, and fashions at the event, Savor the EDGE.
This event celebrates the eclectic character of the EDGE District and its unique culinary and fashion identity. Located between Dr. MLK and 16th Streets and 1st Avenues North and South, the EDGE District has become a thriving community in the St. Petersburg downtown scene. In 2014, the EDGE District’s revitalization efforts were kickstarted by its state and nationally accredited Main Street program, which spearheads the District’s improvement efforts.
Proceeds from ticket and beer sales for Savor the EDGE will benefit the EDGE District Main Street program.
This event will take place at one of the top hot spots in the District, Green Bench Brewing Co. (1133 Baum Ave.), and will feature an exciting evening of entertainment for guests. Along with live musical entertainment, nine of the District eateries will offer delicious specialty plates, and the stylings from EDGE boutiques will be modeled in a Fashion Stroll. Signature Green Bench brews will also be on tap, and beer cocktails in collaboration with The Bends. There will also be an After-Party at 9 pm at Kings Street Food Counter (937 Central Avenue).
Participating EDGE restaurants include Bavaros Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria, Bodega, Brooklyn South, Cafe 1001, Fergs Sports Bar, Hawkers Asian Street Fare, Kings Street Food Counter, Red Mesa Mercado, and Ricky P’s Orleans Bistro. Participating boutiques include Ashe Couture Boutique, Designers Consigner, Magnolia Lane Boutique, Mc Bs Mens Clothing, and plain jane.
Tickets are available at two levels: $20 for a 3-plate option, or $30 for a 5-plate option. Additional a la carte tickets will also be available at the event. For tickets and event details, please see www.edgedistrict.org.
