Tampa, FL – Free to the public, the third annual Taste of Carrollwood will be held at the India Cultural Center on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Featuring 30 local restaurants and over 40 vendors, attendees will sample gourmet fare while enjoying on stage performers in an exposition environment.
Of the more than 500 business professionals who are members of CABA, many Carrollwood businesses will be on hand to educate the public about local products and services available to Tampa residents.
As well, Taste of Carrollwood is a free, family-oriented event that will feature fun and games for the entire family—including a scavenger hunt with great prizes. Parents, who have been home with children during the Hillsborough County School District’s spring break, will enjoy the opportunity to bring their families out to the India Cultural Center for an afternoon of food, fun, and prizes.
“Taste of Carrollwood will be the shop-local, eat-local event of the year for Carrollwood businesses and Tampa residents,” said CABA Special Events Committee Director Chris Wicker of RELEVO. Chris added that he has recruited an outstanding committee to coordinate the event whose title sponsors include Centra Care, The Vine, and Paninis.
CABA was formed in 1986 as a networking organization to support the businesses in the growing Carrollwood area. “This year marks CABA’s 30th year in Carrollwood, and Taste of Carrollwood is one of our anniversary events about which we are most proud, said Board President Rob Cunningham of ADT Security.
