Icard Merrill real estate attorney Steven R. Greenberg shared his knowledge on contracts and addendums with newly licensed real estate agents recently as a guest speaker at a Boot Camp program hosted by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM). Mr. Greenberg has been board-certified in real estate law by the Florida Bar since 1993 and concentrates his practice in residential real estate, overseeing as many as 800 transactions each year.
The Boot Camp was held recently at the RASM office in Sarasota. Similar seminars are offered on a monthly basis to train new agents in the practical skills they need to become successful professionals. The program was coordinated by Catherine McCaskill, director of professional development at RASM, and Lori Rodgers, chair of the Boot Camp program.
Mr. Greenberg has been a shareholder at Icard Merrill since 1994. As a complement to his practice, he is an agent for most title underwriters and is approved to close loans for many national and local lenders. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law and frequently serves as a guest lecturer on a variety of real estate law matters.
