Lance Rodgers, a well-known artist in the Tampa Bay area with national recognition in New York and Atlanta, has been invited to show a highly regarded piece of his artwork collection March 3 to March 6 as part of a French Design Collection exhibition at the iconic Five-Star Peninsula Hotel in New York City.
The piece, titled Obfuscate, will be on display by invitation to private collectors, journalists and buyers at The Peninsula and will be on public display for the balance of the event for hotel guests and visitors. An estimated 3,500 people will have the opportunity to see the artwork in this prestigious location.
“I’m pleased to serve as the liaison for Lance Rodgers’ artwork to reach an entirely new market. My client saw Lance’s work as a perfect fit for their upcoming VIP event. This will enable his work to be exposed to a select group of collectors, journalists and buyers that will be attending 2016 SCOPE New York,” said Elizabeth Brincklow of Elizabeth Brincklow Arts, LLC an art-consulting firm located in the Tampa Bay Area.
In the artist’s words, Obfuscate, invites the viewer to explore the piece with our emotions determining what solace or shared angst the painting will give. Ofbuscate suggests that our reactions are often a fantastic mix of flummoxing emotions, some elements hidden, and some shouting out loud.
An award-winning artist, Rodgers’ thoughtful narratives, sometimes humorous paintings are displayed in numerous galleries, museums, as well as public and private collections in the United States and abroad. A pillar of the St. Petersburg art community, Lance gained notoriety as a painter and curator of exhibitions at Salt Creek Artworks for its entire 20-year run. Locally, Rodgers has over 20 pieces in the Raymond James Corporate collection.
Located at 5th Ave and 55th, The Peninsula Hotel is just minutes to world famous landmarks and sits amidst the flagship locations for the world’s most iconic brands. For meeting and any sale interest for Lance Rodgers’ Obfuscate contact: email@example.com
