PHSC Students Qualify For State Competition

Pasco-Hernando State College Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) students competed at the District IV Conference, held at South Florida State College in Avon Park on January 30, 2016. Students excelled in the following categories:

Business Communications—1st Place, Joy Jordan, West Campus

Community Service Project—1st Place, John Vann, West Campus and Giselle Perez, Spring Hill Campus

Cyber Security—1st Place, Giselle Perez, Spring Hill Campus; 2nd Place, Manuel Cuzco, Spring Hill Campus

Future Business Executive—2nd Place, John Vann, West Campus

Help Desk—2nd Place, Manuel Cuzco, Spring Hill Campus

Human Resources Management—2nd Place, Manuel Cuzco, Spring Hill Campus

Impromptu Speaking—1st Place, John Vann, West Campus and 4th Place; Marc Lyons, Spring Hill

International Business—3rd Place, Alyssa Bohnsack, North Campus

Job Interview—1st Place, Ryan Prieto, Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch

Management Analysis & Decision Making—2nd Place, Alyssa Bohnsack, North Campus; 3rd Place, Marc Lyons, Spring Hill

Sports Management & Marketing—1st Place, Giselle Perez, Spring Hill; 3rd Place, Manuel Cuzco, Spring Hill

 

 

 “All of our PBL student competitors should be proud of their efforts and their united support of one another,” said Sandra Wohlers, Phi Beta Lambda advisor, PHSC West Campus. Students will compete at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) State Leadership Conference and competition in March at the Doubletree Sea World Orlando.
