Previously-announced show; tickets are on sale now
St. Petersburg, Fla. (Feb. 15, 2016) – You’ll be amazed – no “maybe” about it – when The McCartney Years, a loving tribute to the towering musical legacy of Sir Paul McCartney, comes to The Palladium Theater Sunday, March 6 at 7 p.m., part of our “Mahaffey on the Move” series.
The full-on rock ‘n’ roll band fronted by singer, bassist and keyboard player Yuri Pool takes the audience on a virtual magical mystery tour through the greatest pop music of the last 50 years – from the Beatles, Wings and solo Paul. “The luxury of putting together a Paul McCartney show is that we have probably six hours of hits to choose from,” says Yuri Pool. “But which songs do you play on what night?”
The show is period-true, technically stunning and sonically explosive. Every note is live and played true to its original arrangement. It has set the standard for all who might follow in this significant body of work. And it’s a blast to watch and listen to!
Tickets, $29, $39 and $49, may be purchased online at mahaffeyonthemove.com, charge by phone at 727.893.7832 or in person at The Mahaffey Theater Box Office. The Mahaffey Box Office is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday; day of show tickets are available at The Palladium Box Office. There are no added charges ever on tickets purchased directly from The Mahaffey Theater.
