The Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation Board of Directors recently selected new officers to serve volunteer, two-year terms. George “Skip” Miller, of Wesley Chapel, was appointed chair of the board while, Greg Lenners, also of Wesley Chapel, was selected as vice chair. Miller, a senior vice president for Suntrust Bank, became a board member in 2012 while Lenners, general manager for The Shops at Wiregrass, joined the board in 2013.
The following people also were recently elected to three-year terms on the board of directors: Michael Bruno, New Port Richey, assistant vice president/director for GTE Investment Group; Parnell Dickinson, Lutz, owner of Dickinson Insurance & Associates; and Steven Hickman, Dade City, president and chief executive officer at First National Bank of Pasco.
Established in 1975, the PHSC Foundation, Inc., supports scholarships, health programs, faculty and staff development, campus libraries, lectures and other cultural events. With over $40 million in net assets, the foundation also funds more than 800 scholarships each year to deserving Pasco and Hernando county students.
