February 9, 2016 (Largo, FL) – The National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC) is raising the bar with the recent implementation of Deltek Costpoint system. The move will allow NFSTC to continue to provide high quality contract commitments while streamlining projects.
“Deltek permits us to maintain accurate and reliable project data while meeting regulatory requirements all within one system,” says NFSTC’s contract administrator Tracy Goetz. “This system helps to reduce the inefficient resource allocations and scheduling delays that result from manual work-arounds.”
As Tampa’s eighth largest defense contractor, NFSTC is utilizing Deltek to become even more compliant with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) approved processing, which only aids in earning Department of Defense and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-regulated contracts.
“One of the biggest benefits we are seeing is the tie-in between our accounting and projects systems,” Goetz explains. “This allows us to be more timely and accurate from nearly every angle and in turn we can provide a better value to our customers.”
As a recognized leader in the forensic science community, NFSTC provides innovative training, support and services to a broad range of customers, including military and civilian law enforcement communities.
