
CLEARWATER, FL Jan 25, 2016 — Ruth Eckerd Hall, Inc.has named United Taxi the Official Transportation Partner for the renowned Ruth Eckerd Hall and Capitol Theatre and for Blast Friday, the popular street festival series held on the last Friday of each month, January through May, in the Cleveland Street District.
The announcement coincides with the launch of Car 7, a new sister company to United Taxi, offering luxury car service.
“We’re very proud to expand our community partnership with Ruth Eckerd Hall and Capitol Theatre,” said Nick Cambas, principal owner of United Taxi and Car 7. “Our families and friends appreciate the tremendous cultural gifts Ruth Eckerd Hall provides to our area’s residents and visitors.”
Car 7 will provide the transportation for visiting artists who perform at the Capitol Theatre and Ruth Eckerd Hall. The premium service will also be among the benefits of the VIP packages enjoyed by members of Circle of Stars, the performing arts organization’s top-level supporters.
“We developed Car 7 to meet the expectations of passengers who travel first class,” said Cambas. “The Car 7 fleet consists of premium vehicles operated by chauffeurs who have demonstrated the professionalism required by distinguished clientele.”

For the convenience of its patrons, Ruth Eckerd Hall has created a taxi stand reserved exclusively for United Taxi during events at Ruth Eckerd Hall. United Taxi will serve the family-friendly Blast Friday street festival fans with an onsite booth and cabs at the ready.
