Lakeland, FL — Plans are underway for the Watson Clinic Foundation Auxiliary’s annual Wine and Cheese Social, known as Toast to Find a Cure, being held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm at Fields Motorcars in Lakeland. Celebrating its 12th anniversary, this sparkling event is organized by the Watson Clinic Foundation Auxiliary in an effort to raise funds for cancer research and educational programs in our community. Well over a half a million dollars have been donated to the cause as a direct result of the event.
The fundraiser will feature valuable insights from a panel of guest speakers including Linda Logan, Auxiliary Chairperson, Dr. Louis S. Saco, Chief Executive Officer at Watson Clinic and Chairman of the Board for the Watson Clinic Foundation, and Dr. Sandra Sha, a radiation oncologist located at Watson Clinic’s Cancer & Research Center in Lakeland. Attendees will also have an opportunity to bid on a significant roster of elegant gifts during a silent auction.
Event sponsorship packages are now available, and individual tickets are $75 per person. Checks should be made payable to the Watson Clinic Foundation, with “Auxiliary” noted in the memo line. Checks should be mailed to Linda Logan, Auxiliary Chairperson, PO Box 6257, Lakeland, FL 33807. More details are available at www.WatsonClinic.com/Events.
