Amy Miller of Tampa Bay Rays will share the team’s social media tactics
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – (Jan. 18, 2016) – Tampa Bay Innovation Center, an innovation and entrepreneurship center for technology businesses, will hold its February 2016 TECH Talk program on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Petersburg College Downtown Center, 244 2nd Avenue N., 2nd floor Conference Room DC210, St. Petersburg 33701.
Amy Miller, Director of Marketing for the Tampa Bay Rays, will present “Social Media and the Rays Fan Experience,” discussing how the Rays engage their fans on social media to build excitement and show the personality of the team and players. She will give examples of tactics including Rays news, in-game highlights, posts after a win and Rays community work.
Miller, a graduate of University of Florida with an MBA from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, has been with the Rays organization for more than five years. She directs media strategies, creative multi-media advertising strategies and social media.
Presented by Tampa Bay Innovation Center, TECH Talk is the area’s premier networking and education event developed specifically to meet the interests of the local technology community. Attendees include new and start-up technology companies, as well as entrepreneurs and those interested in the growth and success of technology innovation and entrepreneurism in the Tampa Bay area.
