JANUARY 15, 2016 | St. Petersburg, FL – The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce®, located in downtown St. Petersburg, hasn’t shied away from the city’s infamous “Sunshine City” nickname. “The sun is shining on St. Pete, and on the vibrant community that we live in. Our members are community partners that support our mission of economic growth and community vitality, and we have transformed our programming to reflect that the shine is on them”, says Chris Steinocher, President and CEO of the Chamber. The 117th Annual Meeting will be held on January 28th, 2016 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Mahaffey Theater.
The St. Pete Chamber is continuing the tradition that was introduced last January, with all members receiving a pair of tickets to the Annual Meeting, for free. Members were pleased with this upgraded invitation; over 1,200 members filled the Mahaffey Theater in January of 2015 for the program and networking reception.
Additional tickets can be purchased at theshineson.me: $40 for additional member tickets and $50 for non-members.
This year, the 117th Annual Meeting will focus on the highlights of 2015, recognize outgoing and incoming members of the Board of Governors, including outgoing Chair, William Ulbricht, President of St. Anthony’s Hospital and incoming Chair, W. Gregory Holden, of Manning and Napier Advisors, Inc. The program will shine on the accomplishments of St. Pete Chamber members. “’The Shine’s On You’ is our message to Chamber members to communicate the impact they have on this community, and that the Chamber supports their efforts”, Steinocher explains.
