CO.STARTERS Class Comes to Zephyrhills in February

January 13, 2016 by Press Release

image-square2Pasco County, Fla. (December 16, 2015)—Zephyrhills will play host to the Pasco Economic Development Council’s next session of CO.STARTERS, a nationally renowned program that helps entrepreneurs turn an idea into a new business in just ten weeks. The new session begins February 9 and will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.

Participants of the CO.STARTERS program work with a small, supportive group of like-minded people who are all trying to start their own businesses. Working together, participants identify their assumptions about why and how their respective businesses will succeed and talk with customers to validate their ideas. The process enables the entrepreneurs to rapidly uncover issues in their proposed businesses, find practical solutions quickly, and leave the program with a deeper understanding of how to launch a successful business.

Pasco EDC is partnering with CO.STARTERS as part of a larger program to develop an innovative entrepreneurial development model that unleashes the creativity and drive of residents who aspire to grow businesses and employment opportunities in Pasco County. Sessions will rotate throughout the County in 2016 with future sessions held in Wesley Chapel, New Port Richey, and Dade City.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating should register via the SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubators website. Up to 16 slots are available for the upcoming session beginning February 9. A registration fee of only $295 covers all 10 weeks of instruction and all supporting materials.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 5.
