Tampa/St. Petersburg, Fla. – January 11, 2016 – The law firm of Adams and Reese is pleased to announce the promotion of two St. Petersburg attorneys to partner. Andrew J. McBride and James Marshall Moorhead, both members of the firm’s Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group, were promoted to partner Jan. 1, 2016.
Andrew J. McBride joined Adams and Reese in 2010 following the firm’s expansion into St. Petersburg and has been practicing law since 2009. McBride’s diverse litigation practice focuses on banking, commercial, bankruptcy, construction and community association litigation. Prior to practicing law, Andrew served with the Florida Department of Financial Services where he was involved in insurance agent licensing disputes. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in History from Seattle Pacific University.
James Marshall Moorhead joined Adams and Reese in 2011 in the firm’s Tampa and St. Petersburg offices. He focuses his practice primarily on commercial litigation, complex commercial transaction, energy, and construction and government procurement matters. He is also a former Captain and Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of South Florida Honors College.
