St. Petersburg, FL (January 4, 2016) – Three physicians from The Heart Institute, part of a network of physician practices owned and operated by HCA West Florida, were recently voted among the top doctors in the Bay area. The three physicians are:
Robert Sheppard, MD, cardiac electrophysiolgist, 6006 49th Street North, Suite 240, St. Petersburg, Florida 33709, 727-490-2100
James R. Post, MD, cardiologist, 1615 Pasadena Avenue South, South Pasadena, Florida 33707, 727-490-3030
Andrew D. Rosenthal, MD, interventional cardiologist, 560 Jackson Street North, Suite 100, St. Petersburg, Florida 33705, 727-329-1600
The physicians were selected as winners from votes that were meticulously tallied by the TAMPA Magazine from nearly 9,000 surveys sent to physicians in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties.
The 2016 list published in the December/January edition of TAMPA Magazine is a peer-selected list of the best and brightest physicians in 51 different specialties in the Tampa Bay area. Physicians were asked to nominate peers, who in their judgment, are the best in 51 separate medical specialties. The votes were then meticulously tallied from those surveys by members of TAMPA Magazine staff. After the list was compiled credentials of each physician were verified.
