ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (December 15, 2015) – Pinellas County Commissioner Charlie Justice visited PARC on Dec. 11 to do some holiday shopping.
Justice visited the Inspired Artist Studios @ PARC gallery store, located at 3190 Tyrone Blvd. in St. Petersburg, to purchase holiday gifts and meet some of the clients at PARC.
The store is open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. all year long and features art, jewelry, pottery, holiday ornaments, notecards and more designed by Artists who participate in the program. Artists with developmental disabilities receive half of the proceeds from all artwork sold at the store, with the other half supporting PARC’s Art Programs.
Justice bought several things after visiting the store. “It feels good to support Artists from the Inspired Artist Studios @ PARC,” said Justice. “The end product from their work is much more meaningful than anything you can buy in a store.”
Since 1953, PARC has been supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by offering a variety of services focused on their unique needs and goals. For more information about the Inspired Artist Studios @ PARC, call 727-
