Brandon, Florida (December 11, 2015) – Brandon Regional Hospital will be updating its phone system and changing all department phone numbers on January 5th, 2016. The change will take effect at 9:00 PM on January 5th, 2016 and will impact all hospital phone numbers, with the exception of the main hospital phone number which will remain the same.
The hospital is upgrading its phone system to a voice over internet protocol system to allow for new technologies and functionalities to be added. The phone number change will also create a unique prefix that will only be used for Brandon Regional Hospital phone numbers and accommodate future growth of the hospital and need for additional phone numbers.
Callers can continue to dial the main hospital phone number, 813-681-5551, to be transferred to the department or patient that they are trying to reach. A phone directory containing the new phone numbers will be posted at BrandonHospital.com.
