St. Petersburg, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2015) – The King of Pop lives on as the acclaimed Who’s Bad – the Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute touches down at The Mahaffey Friday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m.
Founded in 2004, Who’s Bad has earned its name by paying studious attention to Michael Jackson’s every original groove and gravity-defying dance move.
The velvety vocals and pinpoint choreography of front-men Joseph Bell and Taalib York, combined with the six-piece band’s synchronized dance routines, blaring horns and down-deep rhythms, results in a performance delivered with soul and precision superseded by no one but the King himself.
Proclaimed Michael Jackson’s longtime friend and manager Frank DiLeo, after a Who’s Bad performance in Nashville: “The show was great … Michael would have been proud!”
Tickets, $39.50, $47.50 and $54.50, are available online at themahaffey.com, charge by phone at 727.893.7832 or in person at The Mahaffey Theater Box Office.
