Winemaker Dinners Will Be Announced Later this Month!
General Admission and VIP tickets for the 2016 Grand Tasting sold out in record time. More than 3,300 unique users, an increase from previous years, signed on to the dineoriginal.com website leading up to and at 7pm Monday night. Even with a limit of four tickets per buyer, tickets were sold out by 7:02pm. If you missed out on tickets to the Grand Tasting you can still be a part of the festival through a variety of events over the four days. This includes:
• Winemaker Events – January 29th & 30th
Various Originals restaurants partner with visiting winemakers to make special events that ranges from upscale dinners to casual tastings. Details to be announced in late November.
• Retail Tastings – January 29th & 30th
Various retail locations throughout Sarasota will offer tasting opportunities. Specific details will begin being released in December and continue leading up to the event.
• Forks & Corks University – January 30
This offers a unique experience to taste and learn about rare and inspired wines during seminars led by a panel of celebrated winemakers. The half-day seminar has sold out and the full day seminar has limited ticket availability.
